Crowdfunding Screening Retreat — FAQ
Crowdfunding Host FAQ
What does a Host do?
A Host is the primary planner and main point of contact for a Crowdfunding Screening Retreat.
Before launching a crowdfunding campaign, the Host must:
Secure and confirm a venue
Confirm the event date and time
To launch a campaign, the Host:
Pays a $60 campaign launch fee
Once the campaign is launched, the Host:
Promotes the campaign and rallies support to reach the $500 minimum funding goal
Tracks campaign progress to ensure it is fully funded no later than 7 days before the event
Communicates with contributors and answers questions
Oversees the event on the day of the screening
Once the campaign reaches its goal, the screening retreat is confirmed and the Host receives the screening license and all necessary resources.
