Your Testimonies
The experience of being a host has really been the refresh I needed for my faith. (…) During the half hour delay many people who I did know found their way to the theater, and we made friends with the people we didn’t know, and we invited everyone to a birthday party we had already planned at our house that evening. It was amazing and now we have wonderful new friends! (…) My husband and I both commented how joyful and full of hope we felt as we left the theater.

We just got back from our showing. We were split between 2 (smaller) theaters, and both were packed. Everyone was deeply moved, a few were stunned (“it was like a real movie! Not one of those kinda bad Christian ones.”) and many people stayed afterwards and chatted. Everyone on the Triumph of the Heart team, you have created something remarkable. This film will touch hearts far into the future.
- Greg Johnson
We all cried and stayed after movie to just see each other and talk. Movie was out of this world. It broke my heart into pieces. Hearing a songs sang with such pride and strength in Polish brought me to tears. It transferred me back to my beautiful Poland where my heart still is.
- Agnieszka Siczek
Seeing it on the big screen (instead of my laptop, where I first watched it for a review) was such a powerful experience. The people we talked to after our screening generally seemed pretty floored by it. One friend on his Substack described it as “a masterpiece not to be missed…one of those rare movies that changes you.” And my wife has been really affected by it and has been pondering it in the days since. All that to say, thank you. Know that your work is not in vain and is transforming hearts, turning them toward the good and true and beautiful!
- Matthew Becklo
Triumph of the Heart was a masterpiece proclaiming that friendship with God and his powerful Mother, the Mediatrix, should be the true aim of the human heart. (…) The crowd was overwhelmed at the beauty, riveting performances, and the portrayal of the Blessed Virgin Mary was the best we’ve ever seen in a Catholic movie.
- Cecilia Tombelli
Our crowd in The Woodlands TX absolutely loved it. Strong applause at the end and many stuck around in the lobby for nearly an hour raving about it and sharing stories about how they were moved. A couple of our seminarians made it as well!
- Zac Lowder
It was a beautiful movie, our 2 showings went smoothly. The movie is a great reminder that we are all called to Sainthood. God Bless Triumph of the Heart. It’s a victory!!
- Winnie Magdangal
Thanks for all of the hard work team!! It came out really well and we packed a theater! We had over 100 people there!!
- Samson Drake
Sold out theater in Atlanta last night - and a half full second theater! Received many comments how powerful it was!
- Marie Athaide
Yesterday, in Birmingham, we had a third sold out screening.
An entire youth group with 21 kids walked in 15 minutes before and it was jam packed!!!

WHAT LEADERS ARE SAYING
Tech Requirements
Our team will not be available to assist with A/V and tech support for your event, however we’ve put together the following list and created a resource guide for you to ensure you put on the best event possible!
Equipment Needed:
Computer (not iPad or phone)
Projector or Large TV Screen
Sound System
HDMI Cable
Strong WiFi Signal (ethernet connection even better)
-
You must have a dedicated person to act as the A/V or tech expert for your event.
-
We recommend the following screen sizes for your LCD screen or projector screen below, (sizes are recommended based on your audience size and venue size). Ideally, the bottom of the screen should be raised at least 4’ off the ground.
For a small hall (50–100 people): a 100–150-inch diagonal screen (8–12 feet wide)
For a larger hall (100–200+ people): a 150–200-inch diagonal screen (12–16 feet wide)
-
Ensure the venue has a sound system that can easily connect to your laptop, the projector, or the TV screen (please consult your A/V expert if you are unsure how sound will work in your venue). Keep in mind, you may need to bring in a portable sound system.
-
You will need to connect your laptop to a large LCD screen or a projector via an HDMI cable to play the film (you cannot cast the film from a cell phone).
-
Test the unique screening link with the actual A/V equipment that you will be using for your screening. The link will be emailed to you the day before your event.
If you need additional help with the technical side of your event, please find a tech expert and check out our Screening Resource Guide.

-
Any screening of a movie shown outside a person’s home (for personal use) is required to have public performance/screening license.
-
You can wait and stream as an individual household. Federal law states that in order to show a movie for a church or group event, you must have a public performance rights license (what we are calling a “screening license”).
Please support good art, the artists, and the investors who helped make the art. Do not pirate the movie, do not stream a movie or dvd to a group that does not have a public performance rights license. For more information on federal law visit this website: https://www.swank.com/public-libraries/copyright/s
Note: do not contact “Movie Licensing USA” for a license to show “Triumph of the Heart”. Currently, our website is the only place you can receive a license for this particular film.
-
Laptop + HDMI cable to connect to an LCD screen/projector.
High-speed, reliable WiFi (or ethernet connection if possible).
The film will not play if cast from a cell phone.
TOTH doesn't provide tech support—you must have someone who is able to handle technology on-site to assist. Just like you can’t call Mel Gibson to help with your WiFi when watching Braveheart, you’ll find us less than helpful with troubleshooting your technology.
-
The best window to schedule your screening is October 4th – October 29th (October 29th is our estimated streaming release date).
You may still host your screening after October 29th, but be aware streaming will also be available for individuals to purchase.
-
Triumph of the Heart is just under 2 hours.
The film is not technically rated. We don’t advise showing it to children under 13. (Think of it as a PG-13 movie.)

WRITER AND DIRECTOR’S STORY
I lost my faith
and wanted to die.
-
I got sick. An undiagnosed medical condition destroyed my life. I couldn’t sleep. My relationship ended. I could barely hold down my job. And worst of all, there was no cure—no end in sight.
The darkness closed in, and I lost my faith. I didn’t want to live anymore.
But then I remembered Kolbe.
St. Maximilian Kolbe was a priest, a writer, and a Catholic friar. During World War II, he was arrested and sent to Auschwitz for his vocal opposition to the ideologies of the day.
He watched as 10 men were condemned to die in the starvation bunker—a brutal death sentence. When one man cried out, “My wife, my children!” Kolbe stepped forward and offered his own life in exchange.
I kept coming back to that starvation bunker—the place where Kolbe chose to love in the face of unimaginable suffering. I thought about how he forged a brotherhood in that darkness, how he transformed despair into hope. Slowly, a light began to break through.
Kolbe’s story gave me a way forward, and this film is my way of sharing that light with the world.
In an age that runs from pain and avoids the cost of love, Kolbe shows us another way. He is a saint for our time—and his story is one we all need to hear.
